In a release, Azure Power noted that it also qualified for a capital incentive, which would bring the prices to a weighted average levelized tariff of INR5.29/kWh (US$0.08).
Azure Roof Power, the rooftop arm of Azure Power, has 150MW of commissioned capacity across 20 states. Only last week Azure had also won an additional 20MW of rooftop PV projects for Indian Railway — the largest rail network in Asia.
