Children spend most of their time in their rooms if they have one and it is important to provide a healthy environment during their growth phase.
The target segment is the families with children in the age group zero to 12 years. Initially, they are looking at the Chennai market and later expand pan India. Initially the company would target the home segment and then look at schools, creches, play schools and others.
According to the company apart from green rating, property owners are going in for wellness rating of their buildings.
Meanwhile, Nippon Paint is continuing with the pilot project Nippon Pro Store, that offers a full painting solution for homes.
The company has also trained 300 women painters as a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity.
