H2X Worldwide Ltd, an Australian producer of cars and powered items, and ADVIK Hi-Tech Pvt. Ltd have formed a joint venture to develop products and components for hydrogen-powered vehicles, including fuel cells, for the Indian and global markets.
The cars and components were conceived and developed by the H2X Global design team, and manufacturing will begin immediately to meet India’s fast rising need for hydrogen-powered equipment and vehicles.
H2X and ADVIK will begin manufacturing H2X’s Series hydrogen fuel cell generators. Several of these devices are presently deployed in Australia by H2X. The joint venture’s initial generators will be installed in a large-scale power system that will provide emission-free electricity to ADVIK’s state-of-the-art R&D facility in Pune, India.
ADVIK will establish a worldwide presence as a leading supplier of goods and components to H2X. Additionally, the joint company will begin distribution of H2X goods.
H2X is led by a team with over two decades of experience developing fuel cell and hydrogen vehicles and power systems in Europe and Asia. The company is currently working on several customer delivery programs for fixed power generation and vehicles in Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America.
