Native Diamond Exporter Partners With Goldi Solar To Solarize His Village

solar

Goldi Solar, a worldwide solar panel manufacturer and EPC services provider, today lay the groundwork for the solarization of the hamlet of Dudhala in Southern Gujarat in collaboration with the Shree Ramkrishna Knowledge Foundation (SRKKF).

Around 350 dwellings and public facilities such as anganwadis and gramme panchayats will be powered by 450 KW rooftop installations.

Once completed, this would be the first community powered entirely by solar panels installed by a foundation. Instead of giving financial assistance, this measure will enable over 2000 people to generate money via these rooftop systems.

Shri Govindbhai Dholakia

SRKKF is the corporate social responsibility branch of Shree Ramkrishna Exports, a renowned Indian diamond manufacturer. Aside from sustainable energy, the foundation will offer free Wi-Fi, healthcare, and medical infrastructure.

Shri Govindbhai Dholakia, Founder-Chairman of SRK Exports, originates from Dudhala. His passion for his homeland drove him to do good for the people of his village, and what better way to do it than to provide them with 100 percent renewable power?

This project embodies the genuine spirit of PM Modi’s Atmanirbhar campaign and advances the goal of delivering 24 hour power to everybody.
