Zyngo

Zyngo, a technology-enabled third-party logistics service provider, made a significant statement about electric vehicles. According to the company, as part of its fleet augmentation plans, it would deploy approximately 18,000 electric cars for last-mile deliveries across the country.

These delivery Vehicles, which will be deployed across India by the end of current fiscal year, are leased/sourced by the firm from several local original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The business stated that it has been collaborating with these OEMs based on strong and rigorous Service Level Agreements (SLAs), under which the individual OEMs cover the whole maintenance and service of the vehicles.

The corporation is now on schedule to boost its fleet size by up to 18,000 EVs by the end of fiscal year 23. As part of this, they want to deploy 10,000 EVs in various places by November 2022, followed by the balance by March 2023, in order to meet the expanding market demand and improve their business offerings by tenfold or more.

With its fleet distributed over Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Chandigarh, Zyngo now serves to e-grocery and e-commerce firms such as BigBasket, JioMart, Flipkart, BlinkIt, and Amazon Fresh.

According to Zyngo EV Mobility, it presently does over 3 lakh deliveries each month using its all-electric fleet of around 850 electric two and three-wheelers.
