Serentica Renewables Will Source 1500 MW Of Green Energy Daily

Serentica Renewables (Serentica) announced that it has inked a deal with Greenko Group to source 1,500 megawatts (MW) from energy storage facilities on a daily basis.

“As part of this contract, Serentica will use Greenko’s unique energy storage capabilities to utilize a total of 1,500 MWhr capacity from its upcoming energy storage projects in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh,” the company said in a statement.

This agreement will support Serentica’s efforts to provide its industrial clients with round-the-clock, firm, and dispatchable renewable energy with an annual assurance of more than 95% and a 15-minute time-block guarantee of more than 85%.

Energy storage technologies will be critical in guaranteeing a consistent and sustainable power supply as the globe moves to a clean energy future, according to the business.

These advanced storage solutions help industries to move away from captive thermal plants or other fossil fuel-based sources and rely on renewable energy for 100% of their electricity needs
