In the ongoing surge of the electric vehicle (EV) revolution, Tata Power, a leading EV Charging solutions provider in India, has recently expanded its reach by installing an additional 11,529 EV Home Chargers during the second quarter of FY24. This significant boost brings the total count of EV Home Chargers to an impressive 62,000 units, spanning across various regions in India.
This expansion stands as a testament to Tata Power’s commitment to facilitating EV charging solutions and marks a substantial stride towards making EV charging more accessible and convenient for its burgeoning customer base.
Astonishingly, a staggering 93% of Tata owners now have access to home charging facilities, highlighting the widespread adoption and integration of companies Power’s solutions.
In addition to bolstering home charging infrastructure, Tata Power’s EZ Charge initiative has strategically placed public EV charging points across diverse locations, including offices, residential areas, hotels, hospitals, car dealerships, malls, and highways. This deliberate placement aims to construct a robust and reliable out-of-home charging network, catering to the growing demands of EV users nationwide.
Furthermore, the company’s focus on sustainable transportation is evident through the deployment of 180 e-bus charging points in the September 2023 quarter. This recent addition elevates the total count of e-bus charging points to an impressive 464, showcasing company’s dedication to supporting not only individual EV owners but also larger-scale electrification projects, such as public transportation initiatives.
