Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited has entered into a power delivery agreement with Force Motors Limited and Jaya Hind Industries. The agreement aims to provide clean power for 25 years as part of a group captive scheme, marking a significant development in the advancement of sustainable energy solutions for industrial use.
Force Motors Limited and Jaya Hind Industries have agreed to use power generated from a 6.2 MW AC plant and a 7 MW AC plant, respectively. These plants will be part of Tata Power Renewable Energy’s solar facility in Achegaon, Maharashtra, with a total capacity of 13.2 MW AC. The facility is expected to produce an annual power output of 29.04 MUs and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 21,200 metric tonnes per year. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months.
Tata Power Renewable Energy will be responsible for the overall management, organization, and maintenance of the solar facility that is collectively owned by a group. This facility will generate clean and dependable electricity for Force Motors Limited and Jaya Hind Industries Private Limited, allowing them to contribute to environmental sustainability.
