Cybertruck Faces Eighth Recall Due To Faulty Exterior Panel

The Cybertruck faces another major controversy, this time, because of a flaw in its exterior design. For weeks, Cybertruck owners voiced concerns about the cantrail, a roof ledge panel, potentially flying off due to poor construction and inadequate adhesive. This metal piece reportedly breaks loose during driving which threatens the safety of others on the road. The NHTSA filing reveals that the “structural adhesive” securing the panel can “delaminate,” creating a road hazard. Specifically, the adhesive is “susceptible to environmental embrittlement.”

Tesla’s Growing Troubles

The recall comes at a difficult time for Tesla. The company is encountering significant financial challenges as the sales continue to drop and its stock market performance is weakening. Investors are loosing sleep over Tesla’s brand erosion and Elon Musk’s controversial actions.

Social media users reacted to the latest recall news by showing both derisive humor and strong dissatisfaction. Critics consider this incident as proof that Tesla is not able to maintain proper quality standards.

As the company attempts to resolve this latest issue, the broader question remains—can Tesla regain public trust and financial stability before more problems arise?
