In a significant stride towards building a sustainable aviation infrastructure in India, Tata Power, a leading integrated power company, has joined forces with Noida International Airport (NIA). This strategic partnership aims to integrate renewable energy sources into the airport’s operations.
A Green Power Play
To power NIA’s operations, Tata Power Trading Company Ltd. (TPTCL) will supply 10.8 MW of wind power sourced from Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. (TPREL). Additionally, TPREL will develop and operate a 13 MW on-site solar power plant to further enhance the airport’s green energy profile.
Beyond Renewable Energy
Tata Power’s commitment to NIA extends beyond renewable energy. The company will also develop and maintain critical dry utilities, including essential electrical infrastructure, for a period of 25 years. This comprehensive approach ensures the airport’s reliable and efficient energy supply.

With a total investment of ₹550 crore, this partnership signifies Tata Power’s long-term commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
